The PowerPoint at the bottom of this post is a simple lesson on teaching your learners the structure of noun phrases.
- Learners will need to know the following terms to access this lesson: (noun, article, quantifier, preposition and phrase). You can either get learners to write their own definitions of the terms or complete the matching activity on slide 2.
- The slides that follow focus on building noun phrases from the image above of a Thai temple.
- The culmination of this lesson is that learners use their new found knowledge of noun phrases to write about a beach scene but of course this can be changed for any picture.
