A great strategy to use to revise key vocabulary. As you can see from the example, learners are put into teams and create sentences with the keywords trying to win a game of noughts and crosses as they go.
As a teacher, you have to be aware of if the word is being used in the correct context and if you want to be really tough, the word must be used grammatically correctly in the sentence.
This strategy can be used with any topic and any subject. It can work as a whole class activity, knockout (in teams) or small groups compete against each other.
