I recently delivered a webinar to NATESOL on writing for EAL learners. Writing is such an integral part of an EAL learners success at schools. Yet, some schools do not explicitly teach writing which puts EAL learners at risk of underachievement. Through an explicit focus on writing within curriculum contexts and genres we as teachers greatly enhance EAL learners chances of success.
